The garlic-and-meat celebration, “Tokachi Shimizu Garlic & Meat Festival,” returns this year!
For this one day, the Hokuren Shimizu Sugar Factory Plaza becomes a “food theme park.” Many stalls and kitchen cars will offer creative dishes featuring plenty of garlic and meat, and a special activity corner for children will be set up.
Since it’s held on a Saturday, you can indulge in lots of garlicky dishes without worrying about the smell the next day!
Admission is free, but “Tokachi Wagyu Beef BBQ Tickets” are also on sale so you can enjoy a BBQ under the open sky.
