Now in its 7th year, the “Tokachi Little Film Festival.”
In addition to screenings of short films highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas, a diverse range of programs is planned, including live music performances and talk events.
At the opening, selected works from among 2,386 films submitted from 91 countries and regions to the 20th Sapporo International Short Film Festival (SSFF) will be screened. In addition, a special screening of the short film “Lakura – Recollection –” directed by Yoshiyuki Fuji, a Tokachi resident, will be held, along with a talk session. There will also be surprise programs prepared to delight visitors.
Furthermore, live music performances are another highlight of the festival. A special live show will be held by the Ainu band “nincup” from Tokachi and the island song group “Bluebird” from Amami Oshima.
