The “Eating Matters Festival 2025,” organized by Co-op Sapporo (Consumer’s Cooperative Sapporo), will be held again this year. Through hands-on experiences such as quizzes and cooking, this is Co-op Sapporo’s largest food education event where you can deepen your understanding of dietary education and learn the importance of local production for local consumption.
The “Eating Matters Festival 2025” starts in Tomakomai on Saturday, August 30, and is being held sequentially at all eight venues: Hakodate, Asahikawa, Obihiro, Kitami, Muroran, Kushiro, and Sapporo.
The Obihiro venue will take place from 10:00 on Saturday, September 27, at the Tokachi Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives Livestock Show Venue “Agr arena.”
Your child’s awareness of “eating” is sure to change. Why not come and learn the importance of food together as a parent and child?

This event offers free admission for everyone, and no advance registration is required.
You may also bring your own beverages such as PET-bottled drinks.
You may enter the venue with a stroller, but please note that some booths may not be accessible inside.
In addition, all venues are equipped with spaces for breastfeeding and diaper changing, so families with small children can attend with peace of mind.
