A reading event will be held at Obihiro Hamanashi Hall, where freelance announcer Mika Horii will read the treasured words left behind by poet Shuntaro Tanikawa.
The poem “Farewell,” featured on the reading event poster, bids goodbye to one’s own body in the face of death. With words of parting, Horii’s voice breathes new expression and life into them.
